Anglican Theological Review on Homosexuality, Ethics and the Church
The Summer 2008 issue of the Anglican Theological Review, titled Homosexuality, Ethics and the Church, is now online.
The issue, with an introduction by ATR editorial committee chair W. Mark Richardson, is centered around the last published essay of Richard Norris. Norris, who died in 2005, was an eminent scholar and professor emeritus of church history at Union Theological Seminary in New York. Norris's unfinished essay is titled "Some Notes on the Current Debate Regarding Homosexuality and the Place of Homosexuals in the Church."
Following Norris's essay, the volume includes responses from sixteen scholars. Taken together, this issue of the Anglican Theological Review provides a robust outline of the topics and sources that contribute to the church's ongoing debate over human sexuality. Read the entire issue online here.
